Susie brings over three decades of valuable experience to her practice, having worked within the mental health field since commencing her nurse training in 1991. For the past ten years, she has dedicated herself to providing therapy for a diverse range of mental health issues. Combining her background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with her status as an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner, she offers a highly skilled and knowledgeable service.

Her primary therapeutic approach is Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful method widely recommended for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). By using guided eye movements, Susie helps clients process traumatic or disturbing memories in a natural way, effectively reducing emotional intensity and relieving the distressing symptoms associated with the past.

Beyond trauma, Susie utilises the versatility of EMDR to support clients facing a variety of other challenges. She has found this approach to be incredibly effective in treating depression, anxiety disorders, and phobias, providing a pathway for individuals to move past their barriers and achieve a greater sense of lasting well-being.

Georgina is a highly qualified counsellor and trauma therapist with a rich background as a Clinical Lead in the substance misuse field. With over a decade of experience, she is the Founder of Traumaform Ltd and specialises in supporting individuals through the complexities of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex Trauma.

Her approach is systematic and structured, prioritising client safety above all else. Georgina guides individuals through a carefully phased journey, beginning with stabilisation and the development of emotional regulation skills. Once a solid foundation is established, she utilises evidence-based interventions—such as Brainspotting, Narrative Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy—to safely process traumatic memories and foster healing.

Georgina understands that recovering from trauma requires time and commitment, and she is dedicated to supporting clients toward integration and post-traumatic growth. She handles related issues like anxiety, depression, and addictive behaviours with expertise, bringing both professional rigour and a welcome touch of humour to the therapeutic relationship.
